How PAD Technology Integrates Protection, Control and Metering in a Single PVDB

We are finalising another custom PVDB project, engineered within a Rittal Form 4-2b cubicle switchboard to provide a fully integrated, control-ready power solution. This robust assembly features a dedicated communications and control compartment equipped with a Ziehl G99 relay and a Siemens LOGO! PLC, managing fire alarm and generator interlocks alongside over-temperature protection. For intelligent energy management, the system includes a SolarEdge ONE C&I Controller, an HMI screen, and our Juggle Energy J-Box datalogger for real-time tracking. Grid compliance is ensured via a separate G100 control panel utilizing an ABB PLC and 7-inch HMI, while high-precision metering is handled by an ABB M4M Rogowski meter for LV/HV applications and Schneider PowerLogic for solar generation. Supported by a 24VDC PULS PSU with UPS backup, ICP-DAS Modbus gateways, and Teltonika networking, this installation is rounded out with a 1250A Siemens main MCCB and external e-stop for uncompromising safety and efficiency.
