Outdoor PVDB Project Complete: Integrated Solar Generation & Monitoring by PAD Technology!

PAD Technology is pleased to share a recent project completion involving a fully integrated PVDB designed for outdoor generation and monitoring applications. The solution is built around a Schneider Electric 750x1250x420mm outdoor GRP enclosure and features a 400A 4 pole MCCB switch incomer complete with UVR and motor, alongside a generation meter and a import/export meter. A 10x30mm busbar system feeds two 200A outgoing MCCBs, with the G99 relay fully coordinated for compliance. The metering package includes 400/5 CTs and an Inepro PRO380 MID meter, while the comms section is equipped with a 5A 24VDC PSU, junction box, 5 port network switch, high gain puck antenna, FFG and e-stop, plus an Inepro PRO380 export meter with RIK 5A transducer kit. A practical, no-nonsense build for real world renewable grid integration.
