Solar DC Combiner Boxes

Recently, we delivered a pair of DC combiner boxes for a solar project, each housed in robust ABB Prosafe enclosures and designed to handle the demands of a large-scale solar array. Each box manages multiple strings with fused protection and integrated string monitoring, giving our client clear visibility at the string level, while DC isolators provide the safety and resilience this kind of infrastructure requires. Weidmuller UK SPD's and StringBloxx monitoring technology sit at the heart of this design, with pressure reduction valves, 24VDC terminals, and carefully sized glands for incoming and outgoing cables, all specified to suit the demands of the site.
