As an authorised supplier of SEVEN, PAD Technology delivers high-performance weather monitoring stations designed for solar power plants, fully compatible with GoodWe EzLogger and ProMate monitoring systems. Our complete solution includes precision sensors such as irradiance meters, ambient/module temperature sensors, and wind speed detectors—all essential for optimising PV plant performance.

With the growing importance of environmental monitoring in solar energy, SEVEN’s advanced technology ensures real-time data accuracy, system efficiency tracking, and enhanced operational insights.

GoodWe weather stations utilise high-accuracy sensors to maximise solar performance tracking. The integrated system includes:

1. Irradiance Sensor (PV Pyranometer)
A rugged, UV-resistant Modbus RTU pyranometer with a monocrystalline solar cell and precision shunt for reliable irradiance measurement. Its multi-port junction box supports up to five additional sensors, while the integrated RS485 output connects seamlessly to the GoodWe EZlogger. Includes a built-in module temperature sensor for consolidated data capture.

2. Ambient Temperature Sensor
Housed in a 4-plate solar radiation shield, this sensor ensures accurate air temperature readings by minimizing radiant heat interference. Critical for analyzing temperature’s impact on PV output efficiency.

3. Module Temperature Sensor
A must-have companion to irradiance data, this sensor measures panel backside temperature—key for calculating the system’s Performance Ratio (PR) and long-term yield analysis.

4. Wind Speed Sensor (Anemometer)
Tracks real-time wind conditions, feeding data directly to the EZlogger to assess cooling effects and potential mechanical stress on arrays.
